T-BreakAI Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the use of the T-BreakAI application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

Article 1 (Applicability)

  1. These Terms apply to all relationships between users and the developer regarding the App.
  2. The developer may establish additional rules ("Individual Provisions") for the App. Such Individual Provisions form part of these Terms.
  3. If these Terms conflict with Individual Provisions, Individual Provisions shall prevail unless otherwise specified.

Article 2 (Service Content)

2.1 App Features

  • Task management: create, edit, delete, categorize, and prioritize tasks
  • AI features: automatic task decomposition support using OpenAI API
  • Notifications: send notifications based on set deadlines
  • Display modes: task list, kanban board, and calendar view
  • Settings: theme, notification, filter/sort settings

The App is provided as a tool to support users' task management. The developer does not guarantee that the App will fully meet user expectations.

Article 3 (Registration)

  1. Registration is considered complete upon installing and first launching the App.
  2. The developer may reject registration applications in the following cases without any obligation to disclose reasons: providing false information, previously violating these Terms, or any other case deemed inappropriate by the developer.

Article 4 (Account/Password Management)

  1. The App does not use a user ID or password authentication system. Data is stored locally on the device.
  2. Users are responsible for managing their own device security.
  3. The developer accepts no responsibility for damages from third-party use of user IDs or passwords, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 5 (Prohibited Actions)

Users must not engage in the following when using the App:

Actions violating laws or public morals

  • Creating tasks containing illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise morally objectionable content
  • Infringing others' copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
  • Violating others' privacy or portrait rights

Criminal activities

  • Creating tasks that facilitate fraud, theft, or other criminal acts
  • Transactions with or benefits to antisocial forces such as organized crime

Unauthorized reproduction/redistribution

  • Decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering the App's source code
  • Unauthorized copying, distribution, or modification of the App

Other prohibited actions

  • Actions causing inconvenience to other users or third parties
  • Actions that damage or interfere with the developer's servers or networks
  • Actions that may interfere with App operations
  • Attempting to generate inappropriate content by misusing AI features

Article 6 (AI Features)

AI Feature Nature

  • The App's AI features use OpenAI API to provide task decomposition support.
  • Results generated by AI features are for reference only and their accuracy or completeness is not guaranteed.
  • Users must not blindly trust AI results and must verify and judge the content themselves.

AI Feature Limitations

  • AI features require an internet connection.
  • Features may be unavailable due to OpenAI API usage limits or outages.
  • The developer does not guarantee continuous availability of AI features.

The developer accepts no responsibility for any damages, losses, or issues arising from decisions or actions based on AI feature results. Please verify and take responsibility for important tasks.

Article 7 (Service Suspension)

  1. The developer may suspend or interrupt all or part of the App without prior user notice.
  2. The developer accepts no responsibility for any disadvantage or damage suffered by users or third parties due to such suspension.

Article 8 (Usage Restrictions and Deregistration)

  1. The developer may restrict a user's access or deregister them without prior notice if they violate any provision of these Terms.
  2. The developer accepts no responsibility for damages to users caused by actions taken under this Article.

Article 9 (Withdrawal)

Users may withdraw by uninstalling the App. All locally stored data will be deleted upon uninstallation.

Article 10 (Disclaimer of Warranties)

  1. The developer makes no express or implied warranties that the App is free from defects (including defects in safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, security, errors, bugs, or rights infringement).
  2. The developer accepts no responsibility for any damages caused to users by the App.
  3. The developer accepts no responsibility for transactions, communications, or disputes between users and other users or third parties in connection with the App.

Article 11 (Service Changes)

The developer may change the content of or discontinue the App without notice, and accepts no responsibility for damages to users arising therefrom.

Article 12 (Changes to Terms)

  1. The developer may amend these Terms without individual user consent when: the amendment is in the general interest of users; or the amendment is not contrary to the purpose of the App agreement and is reasonable given the necessity of the change and the appropriateness of the amended content.
  2. The developer will notify users of any such amendments in advance, including the nature of the change, the amended content, and its effective date.

Article 13 (Personal Information)

The developer shall handle personal information obtained through use of the App appropriately in accordance with the developer's Privacy Policy.

Article 14 (Notices)

Notices or communications between users and the developer shall be made by the method determined by the developer.

Article 15 (Prohibition on Transfer of Rights)

Users may not transfer or pledge as security their position under the usage agreement or rights or obligations under these Terms to any third party without the prior written consent of the developer.

Article 16 (Governing Law / Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
  2. For any disputes relating to the App, the court having jurisdiction over the developer's principal place of business shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction.
